G3 was mainly a project set up by Joe Satriani.
During the concert at The Uptown Theater, Kansas City, Missouri on 21 October 2003 he was accompanied by Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen.
At that time Joakim was playing keys for Yngwie and he is all over the footage.
The audio release has different coverart compared to the dvd/blu-ray.
